Description

OBD adapter emables comunication gas injection system Diego G3 and NEVO with petrol controller using diagnostic interface OBDII. Additionally OBD adapter can be used without gas system just as OBD scanner.

Application of OBD adapter:

• reading parameters from the OBDII system and their visualization in the Diego and NEVO system calibration software,
• reading and checking (including erasing) of registered and pending errors of the petrol controller,
• automatic regulation and adaptation of the gas system with the use of corrections read from OBD (only with the use of Diego G3 drivers, versions 3.0H or newer or NEVO).

The OBD v2 adapter can additionally work without a gas system as an OBD scanner.

It can be used only for the time of calibration – in this case it serves as a device that greatly facilitates the calibration of the system, also automating it to some extent. It is also possible to mount it to the car permanently – then it serves as an interface between the petrol and gas controller and allows for the introduction of a continuous adaptive correction.

The OBD v2 adapter can be used in cars equipped with a gas installation with a NEVO controller

The adapter can be connected to OBDII using protocols that are used in most new European cars:
•        ISO9141,
•        KWP2000slow,
•        KWP2000fast,
•        CAN_11bitID_500kbps,
•        CAN_29bitID_500kbps,
•        CAN_11bitID_250kbps,
•        CAN_29bitID_250kbps.

The OBD v2 adapter fully replaces the v1 version (OBD v1 adapter works only with DiegoG3).
