Hyundai i20 1.0

The Hyundai i20 1.0 TGDi with a three-cylinder turbocharged engine served me twice as a means of transport from Łódź to Modlin and I drove it many times around the city.
This allowed me to form an opinion about this machine, which is characterized by a very hard and unpleasant to the ear engine operation, especially when it is not yet warmed up.
After warming up and switching to LPG, it sounds a bit better, and after exceeding 3,000 rpm, you stop noticing that you are dealing with three cylinders, and the turbine kicks in quite clearly, and then the ride becomes even pleasant.
The gearbox requires some getting used to, as it changes gears precisely, but has very long ratios, requiring frequent downshifts, even by two gears, if we want to accelerate quickly, and the fifth gear is only used to maintain the set speed.
The car drives well and confidently even at high speeds (I assure you😉). The brakes are also good, and it can turn with the handbrake on, which is rare in today’s cars. Gas consumption with dynamic driving is just over 7 liters, and the petrol injection is between 0.8 and 1.7 liters. Overall, it’s a good car and accepts LPG without any problems!
