Iveco Daily for gas? How, it’s DIESEL after all?

Thanks to the cooperation of COGAS and KME, the new COGAS NEVO-SKY DIESEL. Gas controller was created and thanks to this controller and the complete KME gas installation. Iveco Daily traverses the routes cheaper and more efficiently.

In today’s episode you will find out what components of the complete installation are on this very long bus.

The system works by administering an appropriate dose of LPG to the sucked air, while reducing the amount of diesel fuel. Thanks to this, we achieve much more efficient diesel fuel combustion. A decrease in the amount of harmful substances and, above all, savings.

The advantage of this type of gas installation is that there is no need to modify the drive unit. System is universal and can be used in all types of engines. Such a system is not very “invasive” and is limited only to the installation of the reducer. (The same as in the 4th generation installations for petrol units), gas injector (s), filter, MAP sensor and control unit. For the proper operation of the system, it is necessary to properly configure the system and calibrate it.

The calibration method developed by COGAS guarantees the maximum use of the system, and thus measurable savings.
